SAVE THE REEF

1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project with Ocean Rescue Alliance
Heather Mermaid is an ambassador for the 1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project and the Ocean Rescue Alliance International.

The 1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project & Gallery of 1000 Mermaids is an EcoArt project. It’s an artificial reef installation that will serve as an underwater eco-friendly destination for tourism & research.

The project aims to enhance marine habitats and expand fish habitat. It also provides creative, economic and educational opportunities for the public. The artificial reef models real people in the form of mermaids. These ocean-friendly and artistically crafted reef modules are located off the coast of Florida at Riviera and Hollywood Beaches.
